Cartier-Bresson at MoMA

May 28, 2010

I was fortunate enough to spend today at the Museum of Modern Art to see the exhibit Henri Cartier-Bresson,  The Modern Century.  I was very impressed with the size and range of the exhibition.  The photographs were amazing, most of which I had never seen before.  It was interesting to compare some of the photographs on the wall with their appearance in a magazine layout.  The exhibit runs through June 28th and it is well worth the time.

Just before the storm, I managed to get back inside with the camera.  This is one from July that I’m preparing for an exhibit.

I took my photographs down today. They were in the Portsmouth Free Library for November and December. I’m always glad to show my work and look forward to any opportunities to exhibit in the new year.

“Up Close and Personal”

October 19, 2008

The reception for our show was yesterday and the turnout was good. It seemed like everybody’s work was well received and I had plenty of questions to answer.  The show is up until October 29th, so there is still time to see it.

The Show Is Up (Mostly)

September 15, 2008

Yesterday, we put up part of the show at the library. It looks great and I’m looking forward to finding out what people say about it. I feel so lucky to have my work included with such a group of talented artists. I have four photographs on display. The rest of the show will be hung in the meeting room at the end of the month. You can see it at the Warwick Public Library until October 29th.
